Forget trying to figure out the Tokyo metro map written in Kanji. But the Japanese are very friendly and helpful. I even had people approach me asking if I needed help (I did).

I must say, those are some beautiful pictures! They made the Far East seem less intimdating than most (I have an irrational fear of eating in Asia, irrational since there's not much chance I'll be going anytime soon, or ever). I saw on Eddy's blog you have a Canon? Please give me the heads up. I'd love to know which one ya got.
What a little Miami bloggin' community we got here...
I have two... the REALLY good pics are from my beloved Canon G9. Only Renzo (my dog) gets more lovin'.
My other Canon is an older Powershot pocket cam. They don't make it anymore but there are a ton of newer models.
The G9 has image stabilization which REALLY helps with the night shots. The newer pocket cams have this too. It's much more important than pixels (in fact the most I shot with was 6 or 7 megapixels).

p.s. my computer fan busted this week, hence no posts. just got a replacement computer today so trying to get my itunes back up to speed. be back pronto...
