Stu & the Joo :: Kwetza's & Stretchers (DJ Mix)
South African duo Stu & the Joo that we first wrote about here have a new DJ Mix out called Kwetza's & Stretchers that they sent our way. Just like the first one it features tons of great stuff that is totally our cup of tea. Since it's Friday figured today would be a good time to post this baby up and maybe get you in the mood for some weekend dancing. I know it did the trick for me. Check it out below and if you like what you hear it's free to download. Enjoy!

To celebrate they have some new remixes of their latest single "Chateau" by Gemini Club, Hey Champ, Punks Jump Up that are pretty sweet. Check out the stream of the original, plus the remixes which are free for the taking and their video for said track. Merci!

Kennedy :: Karate (Video)
Been playing Kennedy's track "Karate" in my DJ sets for over a year now. Always gets the crowd riled up on the dance floor. Apparently it was featured in a commercial and a couple of movies recently so I guess he decided to make a video for it. He did a good job, funny stuff. Definitely a track with staying power.

Now, Now
Got sent these two lovely tracks "Dead Oaks" and "School Friends" by Minneapolis indie trio Now, Now. Real pretty tunes! Short and subdued, her voice is irrisistable like cotton candy. They are on tour opening up for The Naked and the Famous who will be making a stop at Grand Central this Friday, March the 30th. If I was you, I'd check that out.
Here are those two tracks which are free for the taking, as well as their video for "Dead Oaks".

Arbor Lights
Arbor Lights is a four piece instrumental post rock band from Birmingham, UK. They sent along their debut self titled EP for review and I'm digging it. Amazing guitar work and smooth subdued tunes gets a thumbs up from me, especially since we're in the business of helping deserving up and coming bands get some much needed exposure.
Check out a couple of my favorites "El Arbolito" and "Constants (Part 2)" below. If you like what you hear the whole thing is available on their bandcamp page as a name your own price option.
Digits :: Death and Desire
Toronto electronic artist Digits (currently living in London) that we've written about a couple of times before most recently last year here has a new album 'Death and Desire' scheduled for release April 2nd. He sent along the album for review and as everything I've heard from him I'm loving the sounds! Real chill electronic tunes. In particular I'm digging the title track "Death and Desire" and "The Face of Desire" that have a bit of a Junior Boys vibe going on. Check out those two tracks below which he's offering as free downloads.

Cosmo Black :: Blind
In keeping with the theme of electronic music that I've been posting today (think I still have some WMC leftovers in my blood) here is another excellent one. Been a while since we last heard from Australian trio Cosmo Black who we posted about several times in 2010. They've been hard at work and have a new video/remix for their latest single "Blind" and it is mighty fine! Loving the video/track, plus the remix by one of our faves Edwin Van Cleef. Best part is they are all free to download. Sweet! Stock up on some newness on this ho-hum Monday.

Clancy :: Bringing You Joy
London artist Clancy that we posted about his excellent Panther EP last year here sent us his latest single "Bringing You Joy" and we are liking what we're hearing. Great soulful nu-disco tune that you can stream below. If you like what you hear he has a mediafire link on his soundcloud were you can download it for free. Can't beat that. Check it...

Black Strobe :: Italian Fireflies
Parisian artist/producer Black Strobe that did the great cover of Donna Summer's classic "I Feel Love" that we posted last year here is back with a great new single "Italian Fireflies". Amazing high energy instrumental dance track that you can stream below. In addition to the track the single features a bunch of remixes including this one by Reflex that is pretty ace and available as a free download. Thought I'd share the goods.

Test House
One of my favorite blogposts I have ever written is about Psychobuildings so as soon as I heard about Peter Schuette's new project with James Elliot (formerly in Bear In Heaven, School of Seven Bells) entitled Test House, I had to hear it. Their E.P. "Bitemarks" is set to release April 24th via All Hands Electric. The E.P. consists of progressive dance synths with undeniable 80's music feel. Takes me back to when I stole my Mom's substance record or when I used to sit at home on my P.C. playing with reverb. Check out the dark and dreamy single "Love Is Not Enough" below.
MP3: Love Is Not Enough - Test House
Tanlines :: All of Me (Video)
Tanlines have really grown into their sound since we last posted about them here way back in February 2k10. Their latest, "All of Me", from their album Mixed Emotions, that was just released two days ago (March 20) via True Panther, is a pulsing electro-pop jam. It's also accompanied by this fantastically odd video that debuted on Adult Swim last night.

Noosa :: Fear of Love
Got sent this great dreamy pop track "Fear of Love" by NY duo Noosa. Loving their sound! They will be releasing their debut self titled EP sometime in the spring. Be on the lookout for that, in the meantime "Fear of Love" should hold you up nicely.
MP3: Fear of Love - Noosa
Zowie :: My Calculator
New Zealand electro-pop artist Zowie that we posted about last year here just released an excellent new single called "My Calculator". If this track doesn't get your feet moving you might wanna check your pulse, cause you might be dead. Her debut album 'Love Demolition' is scheduled for release April 30th. Can't wait, this girl has star power written all over her. Check out the stream of the track via her soundcloud below.

Kasabian at The Beacham, Orlando FL (Sunday 3/18)
ROAD TRIP! Not much needs to be said about the upcoming show this Sunday in Orlando at The Beacham. If you've never heard of the five piece UK act Kasabian, think Smashing Pumpkins meets The Beatles (don't hold me to this spot-on). Kasabian is part of my "UK tripod", whom which is accompanied by The Kooks and the Arctic Monkeys as my most three favorite bands out of the UK. If you enjoy any of the bands that make up my tripod, or Smashing Pumpkins this is a MUST ATTEND event. We know we'll be windows down, tunes up Sunday afternoon on the highway heading to Orlando! Tickets as well as a very informative bio are available here.
HOT CHIP :: Flutes (Video)
It's finally here! Well worth the wait for something new from the UK's Hot Chip. Released via video yesterday, Flutes is their new single. Needless to say it has us on the edge of our seats waiting for the full album due out this summer, you can pre-order it here. If you get a chance to see them live, it's a MUST DO at festivals this summer and fall.
Afrobeta - Pirate Stereo - Andrew Ward (Chalk Miami Beach Tonight)
WMC is here! Chalk Miami Beach has something special tonight, those of you from Miami know exactly what I am talking about when I say Afrobeta! Tonight will be Afrobeta's first DJ set in Miami, they will be accompanied by our other two most favorite people to listen to locally, Pirate Stereo and Andrew Ward. Get there early, Afrobeta hits the decks at 11pm. Oh yeah forgot to add, IT'S TOTALLY FREE!! Never a bad start to the weekend.
World Tour :: Believe EP
Swedish dream-pop trio World Tour will be dropping their album Believe next month on the 10th, and the albums super chill yet upbeat and inspiring title track truly defines "dream-pop" in every sense. It's an eclectic, atmospheric audio passport to any paradise it inspires you to conjure up in your mind, with just the right amount of that Scandinavian eccentricity. So lay back and let this one drift you away. If the rest follows suit, this EP is definitely gonna rank up there on this summer's top chill-out-at-the-beach albums.
WORL TOUR - Believe via CASCINE
Arctic Monkeys :: R U Mine? (Video)
A bit late, but we say better late than never, especially when it's regarding one of our favorites Arctic Monkeys! Currently back on tour in North America, Arctic Monkeys released their brand new single and video "R U Mine?", this you will NOT find on their latest album 'Suck It And See'. We really enjoy their first three albums, after going in a bit of a different direction with their fourth we're overly enthused that "R U Mine?" is more along the lines of their earlier material. Enjoy!
GLOVES :: Mr Jigga (Remix)
Been waiting for this one since we first heard it last week in Plastic Plates February Mix. Melbourne's own GLOVES posted before here has outdone himself yet again. Giving us in his words a "Disco-Lime-Soda-Bomb" and left us sauntering into the night wondering if we'll hear anything even close to as good!
Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs :: Tapes & Money (Video)
We're big fans of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs here at Off the Radar. His new single "Tapes & Money" is equally as impressive as his other tracks.

The Magician :: Sam Sparro (Remix)
Waiting for Sam to show up so we can do a couple posts for you guys when my friend Sevim posted this amazing Magician remix for Sam Sparro's track "Happiness" on my facebook wall. Such a sick remix! The Magician is truly one bad ass mother fucker. Seems it won't be out till March 23rd which seems like an awful long time to wait before I can play this baby out. I think the soundcloud might break before then. Check it out below.
P.S. I want to remind everyone that music submissions should be sent to offtheradargroup@gmail.com. Still getting a lot of submissions to our old email addresses. We will be giving priority to the ones sent to that account, plus it is better for you guys as all our writers can check that email for post ideas. Cheers!

Beach House :: Myth
That's right everyone! Beach House are back after a bit of a sabbatical with a brand new track, later be followed by a brand new album! Two Summers ago we were all blown away by their dazzling third LP Teen Dream, now, they seem to be set to win our hearts again with a May 15th release of a their fourth titled Bloom! The album's first single "Myth" stays true to the indie bands hazy, minimal dream pop style centering around Victoria Legrand's mesmerizing vocals, which is what we grew to love them for in the first place.
MP3: Myth - Beach House
More good news is that, as usual, a new album means a new tour! I highly recommend attending when they're in your area!

Eleven:Eleven
Austin, Texas synth-pop duo Eleven:Eleven recently contacted us with their remix for Empire of the Sun's "Walking on A Dream" which is good, but it was their original material that really impressed me. Nice mixture of solid beats, synths and sultry female vocals from their lovely lead singer Sicca. Can't go wrong with that.
Check out a couple of their tracks "Electric Sex" and "Pawn" which are available as free downloads as well as that Empire of the Sun remix which is also a freebie. Enjoy!

Simian Mobile Disco @ OTR's MMW Tensnake Single Release Party (3/21)
Another artist that will be at our OTR Tensnake Single Release Party March 21st and probably needs no introduction is London duo Simian Mobile Disco. They are the biggest act on the bill and one of the artists I am most looking forward to hearing. They have a new album 'Unpatterns' being released May 4th, 2012 which will be after our gig, but you can check out "Seraphim" which is the first track they have released from the record on their soundcloud below. They also have tons of other hits like "Audacity of Huge", "Hustler", "I Believe" etc which have gotten tons of plays from me and many other DJ's throughout the years and will surely be making an appearance in their sets for MMW.
Check out a few of those below, plus their super colorful video for "Audacity of Huge" that is one of my favorites. If these don't get you excited for the event I'm not sure what will. Pre-sale tixs for the event are available on resident advisor for $15 for a limited time. Grab them while you can.

California artist Let Em Riot that we posted about back in 2010 here has a new single out called "Lovers and Losers" that he sent our way and it is pretty sweet! Smooth as can be, it has a nice 80's new wave vibe to it. Definitely been stuck on repeat. Best part is he is offering the track as a free download on his site in exchange for your email. Not a bad deal. Check it out via his soundcloud below and if you like what you hear, go grab that baby. The rest of his album should be out later this year.

St. Lucia
A couple weeks ago we posted a great remix from synth-pop band St. Lucia here, now the South African front manned Brooklyn based band have officially released their self-titled debut, along with this, um, I guess you could say creative, video for the EP's lead track "We Got It Wrong". The album in its entirety is a fantastic burst of sunshine for all of you in the cold north eager for those summer months just around the corner.

The Voyeurist :: Hexed (EP)
The Voyeurist are a dark electronic pop duo from London. Their debut EP Hexed is just being released this month. Their reps sent along first track "Chase" which has a dark dancey goth sound that always appeals to me, kinda like Crystal Castles on their more melodic side. Check out the track below and if you like what you hear it's a free download. Stream the rest of the EP on their soundcloud.
MP3: Chase - The Voyeurist
The Fascination Movement :: Interaction
Seattle, Washington band The Fascination Movement that we wrote about back in 09' here have a new single "Interaction" they sent our way. Just as everything I've heard from them it is top notch! Complete with vocoder it is a full on disco dance floor rager. Check it out below and if you like what you hear you can purchase the track and remixes for $1 each on iTunes or their bandcamp.

Iceland's Apparat Organ Quartet are releasing remixes for their latest album 'Polyfonia'. Some of the remixers include FM Belfast, Dreamtrax, Bloodgroup, Reptilicus and this remix by Robotaki for "123 Forever" that is just gorgeous! Absolutely amazing remix that I can hear over and over. Gottfried Beyer is an electronic music producer from Dublin, Ireland who recently contacted with us newest remix for Charlotte Gainsbourg's "Paradisco". He did a fabulous job! Loving the remix. This will definitely be making into my DJ sets, maybe it will for some of you DJ's out there as well. At the very least it will get you shaking it in your apartments/cubicles, and it won't cost you a dime, free download ya'll. Click, click, click...
Mint Julep :: To the Sea (Video)
Portland, Oregon husband/wife electro-pop duo Mint Julep that we posted about previously here have a new video for their latest single "To the Sea". Loving the video/track! What's that like two for two, keep it up guys. Their debut album 'Save Your Season' is out now.
Park Hotell :: Low on Resistance (Video)
Park Hotell is an indie electro pop group from Sweden poised for stateside success by playing SXSW as well as Pianos in NYC. The track "Low On Resistance" mixed by Bjorn Yttling of Peter, Bjorn and John is irresistible. I checked out the rest of their songs available for streaming and am really impressed with their sound. Reminds me of one of my favorite bands New Order which is about the highest compliment I can think of. Their first U.S. release 'Layers' drops March 13th. I will definitely be checking out their live show at Pianos on March 19th.
Zambri :: Places (New Track)
Zambri has previewed a new track via Filter Magazine for the April release of their full length "House of Baasa". I am so damn excited for this full length. I have sang the praises of this incredible act for some time, so just let this serve as a reminder to keep your eyes peeled for this record. Listen to "Places" below.
