Tensnake :: Love Sublime (feat Nile Rodgers & Fiora)

Fresh of his amazing work on Daft Punk's grammy winning album Nile Rodgers delivers another solid guitar performance. This time on Tensnake's new single "Love Sublime" (feat vocals by Fiora). Amazing nu-disco jam! Tensnake has another winner on his hands. Seems we will also be getting a debut album from Tensnake very soon. This could be the moment he fully breaks through to the mainstream and into super stardom. We shall see. For now check out his soundcloud/video for "Love Sublime". Then get to dancing in your office.

Thylacine :: No Mic Stand (feat Camille Desprès)

Thylacine (aka William Rezé) is one of those artists that has a lot of potential. Not to be confused with the 90's band, the Frenchman considers himself more of an Electronica/Trip Hop/ Minimalist musician. The song "No Mic Stand" (feat. Camille Desprès) seems like the song you play at the top of your set to get the drinkers out on the dance floor.

GYM :: Radar Radar

As of late I've been on a French music kick. This is how I came across the band GYM. I've been hooked on their song "Radar Radar". It's the type of song that adds an extra hop to your step.

Check out their live performance and the worst dancing you'll ever see here.

Ben L'Oncle Soul :: Hallelujah !!! (J'Ai Tant Besoin De Toi)

There ain't nottin' wrong with a lil bit of funky soul. Ben L'Oncle Soul's "Hallelujah !!! (J'Ai Tant Besoin De Toi)" is one of those songs that makes you channel the godfather of soul on the dance floor. The soulful Frenchman is definitely someone to watch out for.

Cog Nomen

Got a chance to catch Miami band Cog Nomen at last week's Electric City Fest and I was blown away. They were the first band playing at 3 PM, so there was not too many people there yet, but they played their heart out which is sometimes hard to do in those situations. If you have a chance to check them out I would highly recommend it! They have a great electronic psychedelic pop sound with great guitar work by Buffalo Brown that reminds me of bands like the Flaming Lips. The vocoder vocals add another dimension that reminds me of bands like Trans Am. So I'd say they're probably a cross between those two bands. Perfect to smoke a spliff to and let your mind soar.

Check out a few soundclouds for "As I'm Playing on the Drums", "Starlight" and "Thus Spoke the Insect" from their latest album 'The End of Knowing As We Know It'. Hear more on their soundcloud. Keep rocking it fellows, you made a fan out of me.

Foxes :: Let Go For Tonight (Fred Falke Remix)

It's a dreary rainy day here in Miami, but this latest remix from the amazing Fred Falke for Foxes track "Let Go For Tonight" transports to you to 3am at your favorite disco club dancing the night away. So good! Put it on and let your mind wander...

Hotel Cinema :: Exposition (EP)

Got sent this lovely 3 track EP Exposition by LA indie pop band Hotel Cinema. Lovely female vocals compliment their sweet indie pop sound. I particularly dig the track "Elegy". Get to know this up and coming band, check out a couple tracks from the EP below including "Elegy" and EP opener "This Misfortune". Hear more on their soundcloud. Good to have you guys on our Radar.

Electric City Fest :: Saturday, January 11th Artwalk (3PM-11PM) FREE

This coming Saturday, January 11th for Miami's monthly art walk shindig there's a very special daytime outdoor event being held at Villa 221 and being put together by Eons founder Johnny and SAE Institute called Electric City Fest. It features a wide range of South Florida indie and electronic acts; from Afrobeta to Millionyoung, Panic Bomber, Jean Jacket, Eons and many more. In addition to the live acts there will also be DJ Sets from local spinsters (including yours truly) in between the bands sets. The event runs from 3PM until 11PM and the best part is it will cost you nada! That's right it's a free event! Hard to catch so many of these fine South Florida acts all under one roof (or sky in this case), especially for free. Gonna be a hoot!

Check out a few soundclouds for some of the acts performing below to get you psyched for the show. See ya there...
