Alex MacKay the bass player of NYC's Nation of Language has a side project called Cutouts that I heard about the other day. He has a new EP called Horsehair featuring three new tracks and a great remix by Midnight Magic. Pretty great dark electronic grooves where he gets to be the front man handling vocal duties.
Check out 'Strict Machine' below, plus that Midnight Magic dub of 'Cowgirl' from his full length album Snakeskin released in 2025 that you should go check out as well if you dig these.
