(was in NYC, got back on Thurs. for Art Basel madness). I have to say that “Jigsaw…” is my fav track. But as a hole, the album is great! “Reckoner” is a close 1st, the orchestral sounds and beats are just too good! Also “Weird Fishes/Apreggi” is one of the greats. I'm not sure if it's because I’m a huge fan, but when you listen to this album (this also applies to Kid A and Amnesiac) it has the ability to adapt to any surroundings; on the plane, jogging, driving, looking out the window, typing and waking up to it, few albums do this for me! I could not help feel as if some angel was below the plane as I listened to “All I Need” while the plane was taking off and taking notice of all the detailed sounds with bells going off in my head and watching the cold city drift away a then sooner than later finding myself flying into clouds. I found some listening pleasure with “Videotape” it seemed to slow everything around me as I walk through busy crowds and as the train sound of the track heighten my awareness (without judgments) of people fighting, eating, waiting, smiling, happy and being tired and uncomfortable. I guess in a away, “In Rainbows” makes you see true colors without judgments.Victor Castrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17268416616498538978noreply@blogger.com
