California bred buzz band Wavves album "King of The Beach" is like a lo-fi mash-up of some of my favorite bands. From start to finish I hear pieces of bands like Weezer, The Exploding Hearts (R.I.P), Built to Spill, and even hints of Animal Collective. It's Punchy, Youthful, and perfect for the Beach! Great album start to finish. No wonder it's on Pitchforks best new album list.
