Hailing from the thriving Montreal scene, Young Galaxy, who recently completed a huge cross-Canadian tour opening for the likes of Arcade Fire, have a fantastic 2011 in store for them. Their amazing and much hyped latest track "Cover Your Tracks" is off their upcoming LP titled Shapeshifting which is scheduled for a February release.
The LP is the result of a brilliant online Montreal-to-Gothenburg collaboration with famed Swedish producer Dan Lissvik, perhaps best known for his work with Fever Ray. What emerged was a stunning and luminous 11 track electronic masterpiece that sounds unlike anything the band has created before, heavily saturated in influences like The Knife and New Order.
