Anyways I'm a big fan of Booka Shade. Saw them perform earlier this year at Lollapallooza in Chicago and they were by far one of the most fun acts to watch. In the midst of the mostly Indie Rock bands that were performing it was refreshing to see a fun electronic act get on stage and get everyone dancing.
I listened to the The Sun & Neon Light all week-end along with the new Bomb the Bass record and it's a solid affair! Not sure why it hasn't gotten more buzz? It's a little darker and more experimental than their previous record, but still very good with a few vocals sprinkled in for good measure. If you buy the Special Edition it comes with a Second Disc featuring remixes from the album. Booka are amazing musicians and pretty much always put out great stuff. Can't go wrong with anything they release.
Check out these two great tracks from the album, plus a new remix Patrice Baumel did for Sweet Lies which is phenomenal!
