Harrys Gym is a Norwegian band that recently sent us their video shot on film for 'Top of the Hill' one of the tracks from their upcoming self titled album to be released May 3rd. Within 5 seconds I could tell they are special. Absolutely gorgeous stuff! The music transports you like only the best stuff can. The lead singer's voice is angelic! They describe their sound as 'an eerie blend of psychedelic pop smeered in atmosphere and blissed out melodies.' That about sums it up. They will appeal to fans of artists like Blonde Redhead or The Knife. Can't wait to hear more.
The album will be preceded by single 'Attic' on April 26th. You can hear 'Attic' plus a couple more tracks from the album on their myspace link above. In the meantime here is a remix I found of 'Attic' by diskJokke, plus that video for 'Top of the Hill' and a Live Performance of 'Attic' that is extraordinary! So intense, wish more artists could perform like this live.
