Got my grimy little hands on a promo copy of Smith Westerns second album and IT IS DAMN GOOD. The David Bowie influence is undeniable. Also reminds me a little bit of Ambulance LTD vocally. It has those classic guitar riffs that speak as loud as the lyrics. There's no weak link on Dye It Blonde . The young four piece formed in Chicago. They are currently touring with one of my fav bands Girls. Check out the first single "Weekend" below.
