Deerhunter

While I was researching for my best albums of 08' list I ran into Atlanta, Georgia Deerhunter's album 'Microcastle' in the upper echelon of many 'Best of' lists. I hadn't really heard of them or this record (another one that slipped my radar), so I downloaded it and was pretty impressed. I didn't put it on my list cause I just heard it last minute, but I can see how it can be up there on many year end lists. Great indie rock to chill out to while at home or in the car.

I read that the album was leaked before it was released, so the band went out and recorded a whole new bonus disc to accompany the physical release of Microcastle. Nice bonus for the fans.
