We Were Promised Jet Packs

Glasgow's We Were Promised Jetpacks were first brought to my attention back in August when a friend raved about their then new single 'Quiet Little Voices'. Only recently have I been able to listen to their album These Four Walls and can now agree with the hype! This album will be on many top ten lists for 2009. The journey these four put you through with their dramatic guitar riffs, solid drumming and strong lyricism proves that this is the debut album to talk about. Maybe it's time for all of us to pay attention to these young Scotsmen.

Fat Cat Records the same label WWPJ are on are also responsible for buzzworthy The Twilight Sad and Frightened Rabbit. You can catch all three on tour together this fall, pretty sure it's a show not to be missed!
