I am totally digging the new Metric record. Fantasies is the forth studio album from these Canadian Indie Rockers, whom you may remember from such hits as Dead Disco, Combat Baby and Monster Hospital (the latter of which made it’s way onto a dancefloor near you, courtesy of a remix by MSTRKRFT).
Released on April 7th in Canada and the U.S., Fantasies debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers. This album is chuck-full of catchy melodies and enough synth-fueled rock to keep you pressing the repeat button! I highly recommend it! ****
The album is currently available through Metric’s website in vinyl, deluxe hardcover, digital download and a limited edition package.
